Staging your House to Sell

30 Day Get Your Home Ready to Sell Challenge

Get Your Home Ready to Sell!

You have decided to move.  You’re very excited but also overwhelmed at the same time.  You have lived in your house for decades, you no longer need that much space so you have decided to downsize. You have alot of stuff after living in your home for some many years but you don’t know what to take or what to get rid of.

OR you have outgrown your current home because your family is growing. While you have been busy working and looking after your family, you have neglected your home.  You want it to show well to get the most money from your home but you know it does’t.

Whatever your reason is, you don’t know where to start.

Join the 30 Day Get Your Home to Sell Challenge to get your house ready to sell.  By the end of the 31 days your home will be ready to be staged & sold!

Each day you will be given a different challenge.  I will walk you through step by step on what to do, what you need to get rid of, suggestions where your unwanted items could go to, what should be in each room, popular staging paint colors, and just basically holding your hand every step of the way.

Today’s Challenge!

Today’s challenge is easy!  Go to the dollar store and buy lots of sticky notes.  You’ll need them! LOL  Stop by at the liquor store and get as many as liquor boxes as they will let you.  These boxes are great for storing fragile glass & china.  They’re also great for heavy books.  Next stop is the hardware store and pick up boxes of all kinds of sizes, packing tape, and garbage bags for garbage & clothes that are going to the thrift stores.

Easy right?  You might also want to make some room in your schedule over the next 30 days to complete the rest of the challenges. See you back tomorrow!

Debi-Collinson-Add-Value-to-your-HomeI’m Debi Collinson.  Designer. Stager. Real Estate Investor.  In 2006, at the request of a realtor, I staged my first home.  The sellers liked their newly redesigned home so much that they turned down an offer for full asking price.  I never looked back.  Since then, I have been helping clients make their homes look like they came out of a magazine. I have helped clients earn money for their home beyond their expectations.

I’m also a real estate investor.  I buy “fixer uppers” and either flip them for a healthy profit, or turn them into profitable rental properties. I’m currently living in my 8th “fixer uppers.”  Come join me as I share my tips & secrets along the way.
